Who we are

Seedtech is an independent seed processing company based in Young, NSW, in the Hilltops region of New South Wales. Established in July 2000, we've spent over 25 years doing one thing well — helping seed companies, breeders and grain marketers across Australia improve the quality of their products and prepare them for market.

We're not a large corporate. We're a focused, experienced team that knows seed processing inside out and takes genuine pride in the quality of every run that leaves our facility.

ABOUT US

What we do

We provide contract seed processing, seed enhancement, storage and distribution services for seed companies of all sizes. From smaller specialty breeders running lines from as little as 5 tonnes, through to large-scale national commercial campaigns.

Our facility in Young handles canola, cereals, pulses, pasture seed and specialty crops, using a processing line configured specifically for each seed type and application. Most runs are turned around within 3 weeks, depending on volume and season.

Seedtech is both DAFF compliant and AgSafe compliant, meeting the biosecurity and chemical handling standards required for interstate seed movement and export.

Our commitment to your product

Most seed processors have a commercial interest in the varieties they handle. We don't. Seedtech is independently operated, focused entirely on processing your seed to the highest standard, regardless of variety or brand.

What that means for you: your varieties are handled, stored and processed with complete neutrality. Multiple seed companies use our facility simultaneously, with strict variety isolation maintained throughout. You get a processing partner that works entirely in your interest.

Where we are and why it matters

Young, NSW sits at the heart of temperate cropping country, close to the major production zones of the Hilltops, Riverina and Central West regions. Our facility has direct road and rail access to Sydney, Melbourne and major export terminals, meaning we can receive seed from anywhere in Australia and dispatch to domestic markets or international ports without adding unnecessary handling time to your supply chain.
